Graduating as a level 5 professional sports and remedial massage therapist in 2011 from the highly respected Massage Training School was a career change for me. Since then my drive for more knowledge and a deeper understanding of how the body works has led me into other areas of bodywork, movement and rehabilitation.
Qualified though both APPI and STOTT as a level 3 Pilates Instructor, I specialise in Pilates for rehabilitation. I am also a Corrective Exercise Specialist and I blend these skills together when creating individual rehabilitation programmes.
I work part time in the NHS as a physiotherapy rehabilitation practitioner in an MSK outpatients department in Bristol delivering 1:1 and group rehabilitation.
I am an AIM™ (Anatomy in Motion) practitioner which looks at the body in movement and gait to understand how the body functions. This is a fantastic way to trace injury and resolve long standing/recurrent pain.
My main sports include mountain biking, road cycling, climbing, snowboarding and of course Pilates!
