Recovering from injury or chronic pain can be a long process, and without good rehabilitation it can be difficult to fully recover. Problems can also occur further down the line if muscular strength and control is not restored.
Using a blend of Pilates, functional rehabilitation and movement I design effective and enjoyable exercise programmes to help restore pain free movement and get you back to full strength.
Often the area of pain or injury is a ‘victim’ with the cause originating elsewhere in the skeletal system. We need to assess the body as a whole to understand why the parts are misbehaving, and why we experienced the injury in the first place.
Sessions will include a full video gait analysis assessment and a tailored rehabilitation programme specific to your needs.
This will be particularly useful if you are recovering from surgery, reoccurring injury or are struggling to return to your chosen activity due to ongoing pain/discomfort.
