Pilates

pilates1Pilates is a physical exercise methodology that focuses on strengthening and toning the body without creating muscle bulk, creating lean strong musculature and preventing injury.

It is an incredibly effective tool for rehabilitation, especially for problems created from a lack of core, hip and shoulder strength. The types of injury that may be caused by weakness or instability in these areas is far reaching, from chronic low back pain, neck and shoulder tension, to elbow injuries, ankle and knee injuries and everything in between!

Classes

I  run small group (5-1) beginner and intermediate classes  at C1 Chiropractic Health Centre These run in blocks of 6 weeks and cost £48.

1-1 and 2-1 classes

1-1 and 2-1 classes are available from both C1 Chiropractic Health Centre and my home in  Eastville BS5.  1-1 and 2:1 sessions are £40 per hour

I have completed my training through both Stott Pilates Institute and the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute specialising in Clinical Pilates. This focuses on Pilates from a rehabilitation perspective and is a fantastic method of injury prevention and recovery.
